Rebecca Hatfield

Rebecca is currently the Chief Strategy and Growth Officer at Hancock Lumber, having previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Avesta Housing. Prior to Avesta, she was a senior vice president at Citigroup, working within the private, commercial and corporate banks.

Rebecca is actively involved in the community. In addition to serving on the board of the John T. Gorman Foundation, Rebecca serves on the board of Camden National Corporation and Camden National Bank. Previously, she has served on the boards of The Genesis Fund, Maine Council on Aging, Gulf of Maine Research Institute, and the Maine Real Estate and Development Association (MEREDA). Rebecca earned a B.S. in Computer and Information Science from University of Maryland and an M.B.A from University of California Los Angeles, Anderson School of Management. She was named a Woman to Watch in 2021 by Mainebiz magazine, a Mainer of the Year in 2022 by Maine Magazine, and she received the MaineHousing Stephen B. Mooers Award in 2023.
