As Communications Director, Andy works not only to highlight the Foundation’s work with its partners, but also raise awareness of the challenges facing Maine families and effective strategies to address them.
Andy came to the Foundation in 2019 after serving for 10 years as the Deputy Director of Communications in the Office of Maine Congresswoman Chellie Pingree. He has held nonprofit communications roles with Portland Trails and Maine Audubon after starting his career as a reporter and editor.
Proud to be a native Mainer, Andy grew up in Standish, graduating from Bonny Eagle High School and Brown University. He lives in Portland with his wife, Jenny, and two children.
