As Vice President of Family and Early Childhood Education, Louise is responsible for oversight of program design and implementation of services for children ages 0-5 and their families. This includes Early Head Start, Head Start, Maine Families, WIC, Parenting Education, Neighborhood Engagement, and Public Health programs. She has worked for the organization for more than 27 years assisting in its growth and development, including playing a critical role in the 2011 merger of the Peoples Regional Opportunity Program (PROP) with Youth Alternatives Ingraham to form the current Opportunity Alliance.
Prior to this, Louise served as an assistant director at an early childhood learning center in Florida. She is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and ACCESS Cumberland County. Louise has a BS in Child Development from the University of Maine at Orono and a Master in Science in Early Care and Education from Wheelock College.
