As Communications Director, Andy works not only to highlight the Foundation’s work with its partners, but also raise awareness of the challenges facing Maine families and effective strategies to address them.
Andy comes to the Foundation with over 10 years of experience in non-profit and government communications. Most recently, he served as Deputy Communications Director in the Office of Maine Congresswoman Chellie Pingree, where he also helped connect local organizations to sources of federal funding. Previously, he had communications roles with Portland Trails and Maine Audubon. He began his career as a reporter and editor for a community newspaper.
Proud to be a native Mainer, Andy grew up in Standish, graduating from Bonny Eagle High School and Brown University. He lives in Portland with his wife, Jenny, and two children.
