The John T. Gorman Foundation has bid a fond farewell to Senior Program Associate Sara Gagné-Holmes, who is now a Deputy Commissioner at the Maine Department of Health and Human Services. Over the last four years, Sara has been at the forefront of the foundation’s workforce development investments and initiatives for older youth—bringing to these issues a deep expertise, tireless work ethic, and incredible passion. We are sad to see her go, but couldn’t be happier for the Maine people she now serves statewide.
The Foundation has also welcomed Andrew Colvin as its Communications Director. Andy comes with over 10 years of experience in non-profit and government communications, most recently serving as Deputy Communications Director in the Office of Maine Congresswoman Chellie Pingree. A native Mainer, Andy is excited to highlight the Foundation’s work with its partners and promote effective strategies to helping improve the lives of low-income Mainers.
